GRANGE EXHIBITS:Subordinate/community granges may make a card table size exhibit promoting the theme of the festival or promoting your grange. The grange name may be included in the exhibit. An identification sign with grange name and number as well as your Pomona number must be included on the exhibit.
RECOGNITION SEAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Subordinate/community granges must have an exhibit at the fall festival.
- Pomona seal requirements: each Pomona must have at least three of their subordinate/community granges exhibited at the fall festival.
PRIZES: $30.00 FOR FIRST PLACE EXHIBIT
$10.00 FOR ALL OTHERS
JUDGING: Booths will be judged as follows:
- Keeping to the theme 40 points
- Promoting Grange 35 points
- Overall appearance 25 points
OTHER PRIZES FOR ENTRIES FROM PREMIUM LIST:
- $30.00 to family with most blue ribbons. Family must live in same household and enter under same exhibitor number.
- $25.00 to the Junior Exhibitor with the most blue ribbons. All entries must be prepared by the member entering. Group entries will be disqualified. Red ribbons will be considered in case of a tie.
- $25.00 Marjorie Carpenter Award to the Junior Grange having the most Junior member entries.

Age Divisions:
- Juniors age 5-8, 9-11, 12-14
- Youth age 14- 21
- Adults age 22 and over
THE FOLLOWING CONTESTS ARE OPEN TO THE PUBLIC
BAKING: NO MIXES MAY BE USED. All items must be made from scratch. Entries will be judged on appearance, texture and flavor. Recipe must be printed or typed on A 3 x 4 cards for each item and should include Name, Address and Phone Number. Read the Green Mountain Granger and watch for special Mailings for more details.
FRUIT AND VEGETABLES: Display plates Furnished by the Festival. Only one entry per Exhibitor, per category and variety - SEE PREMIUM LIST. Entries must be clean and Neatly prepared for entry. The Department Director has the right to reject items, which are not properly prepared for exhibit.
GENERAL INFORMATION:
Entries in all categories may be registered from 2:00 pm- on Friday, 23 September 2005, but must be registered no later than 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, 24 September. Judging begins at 9:00 a.m. Saturday. Late entries will be for exhibit and auction only. All exhibits will be dosed to the public during judging. Those wishing to donate entries for Saturday afternoon auction should notify the Festival staff.
All ribbons and items not for auction must be picked up by exhibitors between 12:00 noon and 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Festival Committee will not be responsible for ribbons not picked up by 1:00 p.m.
PREMIUM LIST AND ENTRY FORM ARE INCLUDED IN THIS PROGRAM BOOK AND MAY BE COPIED FOR DISTRIBUTION TO FRIENDS AND NEIGHBORS WHO ARE NOT GRANGE MEMBERS.
